Anita Foster

Hi, my name is Anita and I'm the young carer support practitioner for Shropshire. I've worked with young people in the charity sector for 21 years but only joined Shropshire Council in April 2024. I feel passionately about supporting young people. I was a young carer for my father but when I was growing up there was very little support.

I'm married with three grown-up children who I'm immensely proud of. I have a pet dog called Dylan and a tortoise called Herbie. I enjoy travel, camping, films and music, and I play the ukulele.
