Feedback
Any comments or feedback are always welcome. We strive towards a ‘child first’ attitude whilst respecting families differences, needs, challenges and growth - often in difficult times.
If you'd like to leave feedback regarding the service you've received you can do so here.
We actively try to gather the feedback of parents and carers we work with, so that we can continually provide a better service and know how to improve. If you've had involvement with TREES/Child Exploitation social care, and are interested in doing this, you can complete our online form.
Complaints
I have concerns about the service I’ve received
It’s very hard to make unpopular decisions, but wherever possible, when these have to be made, they'll be made in the best interests of the child.
Speak to your lead professional regarding your concerns if you're able to. You're entitled to request further clarification from their manager or supervisor if applicable.
Shropshire Council has a statutory duty to safeguard it’s children, and will always try and work with a family before considering other options. Removing children or moving families out of area is very rare, always a last resort, and we consider family unity to be paramount, so please don't worry about this.
We work towards a ‘no blame’ culture and always want to work with parents, carers and professionals, even when mistakes have been made.
However, if you wish to make a complaint you're able to do so here. Any criticism won't impact on the service you receive, and will always be treated with respect and dignity.
