Council tax Energy bills rebate

Applications for the energy rebate are now closed.

Anyone who has been sent an application letter during May, June and July, but has not responded will now have the energy rebate credited to their Council Tax account during September 2022.  All residents were advised of this in their application letters.  You will be sent an amended council tax bill to notify you when this has been done.

If you have already applied for the rebate and requested either a BACS payment,  Post Office voucher, or money off council tax but have not yet received the payment, please note that the team are still processing 100’s of application, and we will continue to process applications through August and September.  If there are any queries with your application you will be contacted.

If you haven’t been contacted by the Council about the rebate at all, and believe that you qualify for the rebate, please e-mail energy.rebate@shropshire.gov.uk
