Ann-Marie Ritson
I started my career with Shropshire Council in 2000 in the Human Resource Department. 15 years later I moved across and joined the Joint Training team, specialising in delivering management training and the care certificate.
I thoroughly enjoy meeting new people, helping individuals to improve and enhance their current skills, and making positive changes to their service delivery. I enjoy working in a team developing and delivering new training programmes. As a trainer, it's so worthwhile when you receive such positive feedback from attendees about how the training has helped them, sometimes on a personal as well as a professional level. I really enjoy the variety of this role - no two days are ever the same.
I have numerous qualifications in HR and management, including CIPD: Certificate in Personnel Practice (CPP), Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) Training and Development level 3, and level 5 in leadership and management.
I have far fewer hobbies now I have a family, but I still manage to get outdoors as much as possible and my children enjoy it too, especially picking winberries and making winberry pies when they are in season at the Stiperstones.
