Training for managers and seniors in children and young people safeguarding

Training to increase understanding of the safeguarding adults enquiry process and your role in carrying out an enquiry.

Familiarise you with the implications of the Appropriate Adult role as required in the Police and Criminal Evidence Act. This is in relation to detention, questioning and identification of mentally disordered or learning-disabled adults in police custody.

Provide an awareness of hoarding and considerations when supporting adults who have difficulties with hoarding. Look at key legislation that may be used and local procedures for management of hoarding.
