This course is recommended for staff working in health and social care who need to prevent and/or intervene in crisis situations and whose Training Needs Analysis has established that they require disengagement and holding skills. Staff are required to attend CPI Safety Intervention Foundation™ Refresher training on an annual basis to refresh their knowledge and skills.  Please apply for this course as your current CPI Safety Intervention Foundation™ certificate is approaching expiry.

Develop new ways of talking to and working with those that have problematic thoughts. Take a critical and thoughtful perspective on traditional ways of understanding paranoia & unusual beliefs.

Leadership and management training to develop skills in making decisions under pressure.

Training to introduce and increase understanding of safeguarding and protecting children.

Improve responses to the needs of adults with swallowing difficulties. Looking at signs, symptoms and problems caused by Dysphagia. Exploring the IDDSI levels.

Training to increase knowledge and awareness of sexual violence / abuse.

Provide an introduction to Pathological Demand Avoidance– a profile on the autistic spectrum
