New Whitchurch pool and fitness centre

The designs of the new swimming pool and fitness centre for Whitchurch are now complete and construction work started in November 2023.

The centre is being funded and delivered by Shropshire Council, the Architects are Roberts Limbrick and the main contractor is Pellikaan Construction Ltd.

The new centre is due to open to the public 19 March 2025 and will include: 

  • 25 metre x 6 lane pool
  • Moveable floor to half of the pool
  • 35 station fitness suite
  • 2 studios for dance and fitness sessions
  • Changing village
  • Changing Places facility
  • Reception
  • Café and vending machine
  • Outdoor activity and play area
