Additional information on classes

  • Power Pump - Weight based exercise class with a focus of building strength and endurance through a variety of movement techniques using barbells, kettlebells, dumbbells and a selection of bodyweight exercises. The class will be a more intense and challenging option.
  • Stretch and strengthen - Bodyweight and flexibility-based class to leave you feeling relaxed and awakened. The class is aimed at people trying to relieve stiff muscles after exercise and release general tension and stress.
  • Power Stretch - Energise your body and mind with this dynamic flexibility session. Enhance your joint mobility and stretching ability. A slow steady, restorative class. Unwind, ease out, calm and refresh your body, leaving you feeling relaxed and recharged.
  • Body Blast - A class that uses a variety of different exercises some weighted, others completely bodyweight, which aims to build and strengthen muscles using a diversity of techniques. With adaptations exercises can be made more or less demanding depending on ability
  • Cardio sculpt - This class aims to build your cardiovascular endurance, agility and balance, the exercises will be mainly bodyweight and will be an example of how you can challenge your body with minimal or no equipment.
  • Barbell Blitz - The focus of the class will be building strength and endurance through the use of a variety of equipment and exercises. The main focus being the use of barbells which will help to perfect technique and increase full body strength while encouraging balance.
  • Body conditioning - We combine cardio and resistance training with some great music and this class does exactly as it suggests. It challenges the whole body, sometimes using equipment such as dumbbells or body bars and sometimes it`s simply kit free. 
  • Fitness Pilates - Pilates is a form of exercise which concentrates on strengthening the body with an emphasis on core strength. It helps to improve general fitness and overall well-being whilst focussing on posture, balance, core stability and flexibility. It`s low impact.
  • Over 60`s strength, conditioning & balance - strength, conditioning and balance class aimed at over 60s with our EOR instructors.
  • Kettlebells - From strengthening the key muscles of the lower body (glutes, hamstrings and quads) to challenging the upper body (back, shoulders, forearms, triceps and biceps), kettlebells are a really effective tool for improving total body strength, cardiovascular fitness.
  • Yoga - Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to boost both physical and mental wellbeing. We use yoga postures and salutations (flows) to strengthen and tone the body, improve our energy levels.
  • Studio cycling - A high intensity, yet great fun class. Indoor cycling (most commonly called spin class) focuses on endurance, strength, interval training and recovery. It can improve your overall physical fitness and your cardiovascular endurance.
  • Stability balls - Stability ball exercise helps you to develop balanced strength and flexibility in all major muscle group. Correct imbalances, improve posture and enhance dynamic movement capabilities. Strengthening the core muscles will help in all aspects of life.
