The award-winning Bookshop Band came to life as an artistic collaboration with Mr B’s Emporium of Reading Delights. They write and perform songs inspired by books and have released 13 book-inspired albums collaborating with authors, including Philip Pullman, Robert Macfarlane and Margaret Atwood. No previous knowledge of the books is required as the band guides the audience through the stories behind each song’s inspiration.
Tickets cost £15 and are available from the library or from the Arts Alive website
