All Afghans arriving in England will be able to access NHS healthcare free of charge, including GP and nurse consultations, hospital services, and urgent care centres.

You'll be provided with accommodation by the MOD under the ARAP or ACRS scheme supported by Shropshire Council. Should you wish to find your own accommodation please speak to the Shropshire resettlement team. 

Gov.UK's vaccination information for migrants is for anyone who has moved to the UK, and advises them on the need to register with a GP to get up to date with their routine vaccinations. It explains the vaccines that at-risk people with health conditions, pregnant women, infants, children and older adults need, and the diseases this will help protect them from. It also signposts to the health services, where to get assistance and how to use the services.

Doctors of the World have produced translated information explaining migrants’ right to healthcare in the UK, and an explanation of the different services within the NHS and how to seek medical advice and healthcare.
