Highways approval for a new or extended access is separate to planning permission, and it may be necessary to consult both parties before approval can be granted.
Planning permission may be required for a new or extended vehicle access.

Applications must be received no later than four weeks before proposed start date. If a road closure is required this will extend to 12 weeks.
The associated fee is non-refundable, even in the event of a refusal. We have therefore provided as much information as possible within the Dropped Kerb Applicants notes, attached below, so that you can fully evaluate your proposal before applying.
