Ludlow
Home to around 10,000 residents, Ludlow lies at the southern edge of the county. The highest population densities are within the centre and to the northeast of the town.
In the 2011 census, almost half of commutes by residents were reported to be less than 5km, with 40% less than 2km. 24% of residents said they walked to work, which is almost double the average for the county.
However, only 2% of residents said they cycle to work, which is lower than the average across Shropshire.
The fragmented nature of the current cycle network is likely to present a barrier to people cycling.

- An in-person roadshow at each of the seven towns (9 – 12 May)
- Two online webinars covering the proposals for each of the seven towns (6pm on 18 and 25 May)
- Workshops with schools to get the opinions of children and young people (w/c 19 June, details TBC)
