Vicky Dudley
I qualified as a social worker in 2003 working within the Child Protection service. I later found my passion working in the Substance Misuse Team, I loved working with people and trying to enable them to work towards a life without substances. After working for 14 years there, latterly as the team manager, I joined Joint Training in 2016.
This role provides me with an opportunity to share my experience and knowledge with other people. I enjoy meeting new people who are wanting to know more about the world of substance misuse and hope that people go away feeling inspired to make a difference for others.
I hold a diploma in social work (DIPSW), a BA (Hons) in social studies and a diploma in addiction studies, together with numerous certificates which have helped me develop my own learning and knowledge.
In my personal life I have four children who keep me pretty busy. As a family we also run a boarding kennels for dogs, which is one of my personal passions. Beyond this I find I don’t have a great deal of spare time!
