Funding information for settings
Support, advice and funding can be applied for following targeted intervention using existing resources (the enabling environment document, Shropshire’s early speech and language development chart and person-centred plan), giving a clear understanding of a child’s needs and/or concerns, including any advice from other professionals.
Take a look at how you can identify needs of children in your setting. If you'd like this information in a different format, please email local.offer@shropshire.gov.uk
Support request form
Please use the support request form to highlight those children you feel need additional support in order to meet their needs.
Once you've completed this form you'll need to send an email to: NEF@shropshire.gov.uk to advise us that you've made the support request. Please ensure that you attach to the email the required supporting documents to accompany the request.
The supporting documents we'd expect to see are as follows:
- EY person-centred plan
- Enabling environments chart
- Shropshire language chart
- Behaviour chart
- Behaviour plan
The email itself doesn't need to be encrypted, but any documents in the email should be password protected. To find out how to password protect a document please visit the Microsoft support website.
Requests are reviewed on a monthly basis.
