Apps - general
There are many smart devices and apps that can be of great benefit to those who struggle with mobility, have physical or learning disabilities, or struggle with remembering to do everyday tasks. Apps can be used to help you regain control of your health and wellbeing (there may be a charge by the provider for the service) and when used alongside simple smart devices in your home, they can help you feel more confident to keep living at home for longer.
Your mobile device may already have preloaded apps to help with health and wellbeing. Below are a few examples of free apps that are available to download on to your mobile phone or tablet.

Apps for medication management
- Description
Healthera - this app allows links with your local pharmacy, supporting management of medicines, prescriptions, and repeat prescriptions. Alarms will remind you when to take your medication.

- Description
TapTapSee - a free app that uses the mobile camera and VoiceOver functions to identify an object when a picture or video of it is taken by the user. Available on Android and Apple.
