Adult carers

Our adult carers section includes information, advice and support for adults who provide unpaid care to a family member, friend or neighbour, and details for the Carers Support Team, the Shropshire Carers Register, resources for carers, and ways to access support services.

Young carers

Our young carers section provides information and support for children and young people aged 5 to 17 who help care for someone at home. The service provides activities, wellbeing support, opportunities to connect with peers, and guidance for families and professionals. The Parent Carer Council Shropshire (PACC) is a forum for families of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). PACC provides information, community support, and opportunities for parent carers to share their experiences and influence local services and decision-making.
