Community assets Town and parish council asset transfer

We support Town and Parish Councils that are interested in taking on local buildings or parcels of land where community management or ownership could help secure their long‑term use and benefit. If your council would like to explore an asset transfer opportunity, please complete the Expression of Interest form below, clearly identifying the asset or assets you wish to be considered for. Submitting a form does not commit either party to a transfer but allows an initial discussion to take place.

Once we receive your Expression of Interest, we will review the information provided and contact you to discuss the proposal, the suitability of the asset, and the next stages of the process. Every asset is different, and requirements will be considered on a case‑by‑case basis. Not all assets will require a full business plan or business case (template can be provided if this is required); this will depend on factors such as the nature of the asset, its condition, and the proposed use. We will provide clear guidance on what information is needed as the process progresses.
