Why would I want early help?
Life can feel overwhelming and complicated at times. Families don’t come with an instruction manual, unfortunately, and there are times when we could all do with a little bit of extra help.
You don’t have to deal with things on your own, there’s people around to help you.
Early Help is made up of people who want to see your family thrive. They have the expertise and experience to help you access the right support for your family when problems arise.
There are lots of ways they can help. Perhaps you are worried about:
- Your child’s health, development, behaviour or how things are going at nursery/school/college
- Your physical health or mental health and how this is impacting your family
- Money or your housing situation and how it is affecting your family
- The way alcohol, drugs, crime or domestic abuse is affecting you and your family
- A bereavement in the family that has made life challenging
- Caring responsibilities. Perhaps you are caring for a disabled child or you are a young person caring for other people.
If you feel ready to take the first step, you can find out where to get early help here.
