Connect to Work
Connect to Work is a work programme in England and Wales to help people living with disabilities, those with health conditions and people with complex barriers to employment, or those who are part of a specialised group, to find work.
Locally, the programme is being delivered across Herefordshire, Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin by several employment specialist organisations.
You may be eligible if...
- You have a registered disability
- You've been unemployed for six months
- You're in a specialised group*
- You're working but need additional support to increase your hours/wage

If accepted onto the programme, you'll work 1:1 with an employment specialist local to you. They'll undertake vocational profiling with you and co-create a support plan with you for your specific needs. This is a voluntary programme, and as such participation doesn't affect any eligibility for DWP benefits.
Once you've registered your interest, you'll then be contacted by the employment specialist local to you:
- Shropshire: Enable
- Telford: Job Box
- Herefordshire: Youth Employment Hub (From December 2025)
