Food complaints
There are a number of common complaints about foreign objects in food which are either normal parts of the food or harmless contamination, most of which can be dealt with by returning the item to the retailer. When returning the item to the retailer it is helpful to obtain a reference number.
Other food complaints may have food safety implications and need to be dealt with by our Health Protection Team. If you feel there is a food safety risk you can contact us by filling the 'report a problem with a food product' form.
