Apply for work experience

Apply online

If you wish to undertake a work experience opportunity at Shropshire Council, please complete the application form and return it via email to: upskill@shropshire.gov.uk ensuring that you give at least two months' notice prior to your required date, as this will assist us in securing a suitable opportunity.

Once you submit your application, we'll review it and try to find the right placement for you. We'll contact you via email to discuss your application and placement options in due course.

Please note that due to the majority of our teams still taking a hybrid approach to working patterns and locations, we'll only be able to offer work experience placements subject to availability, and where the team can support face-to-face placements.
