Aims: To increase awareness around mental health and how this may be applied to the workplace. This training supports employers duty of care in reasonably supporting their employees' health, safety and well-being at work.
Learning outcomes:
- Discuss mental health, its links with stress and bring awareness to some common mental health problems
- Explore some of the signs of poor mental health
- Develop confidence in supporting a colleague, including during sickness absence and on returning to work
- Think about the importance of optimising our own well-being
- Introduce some useful tools and techniques to help support good mental health
