Aims to: Explore the principles of change management and the importance of supporting your staff through change.

The session offers the opportunity to explore the methods necessary to meet resistance to change and boost employee engagement. This session has a focus on the changing nature of the health and social care sector and how these changes impact current developments on your role as a manager.

Learning objectives: By the end of the session, learners will have had an opportunity to:

  • Identify why we have changes in the workplace.
  • Identify the changing nature of adult social care and the impact of current developments on your role as a manager
  • Consider the importance of working with others in the effectiveness of managing change processes
  • Explore methods to overcome resistance and boost your employee engagement
