Working through paranoia and unusual beliefs

Aims to: Enhance learner’s confidence in working with people who experience paranoia and unusual beliefs, taking a critical and thoughtful perspective on traditional ways of working with these experiences.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Explore paranoia and how this may impact a person
  • Identifying the links between trauma and belief systems, considering how these systems might be decoded
  • Consider triggers & warning signs that may be present when working with unusual beliefs
  • Gain an understanding of body state information that can trigger paranoia
  • Hear personal experiences of recovery
