Early closures - Oswestry
Oswestry Library will be closing early at 1pm on both Friday 10 July and Saturday 11 July 2026.
Due to the ongoing issues with the building's air handling system, the temperature inside the building continues to rise day by day and does so during the day hour by hour. To ensure the safety and wellbeing of our staff and visitors, the difficult decision has been made to close early.
Any overdue fines incurred due to the early closure will be waived.
Drop in and play with Lego and Duplo in the library. Be inspired by a weekly theme or create your own designs. Children should be accompanied by an adult.
