Supplementary planning documents and guidance
Supplementary planning documents (SPDs) provide further guidance to support the understanding and application of policies in the adopted Development Plan.
Standing advice and guidance provides advice on a specific location or asset(s), for those considering development proposals which might be affected by or affect the location or asset(s).
Agreed masterplans provide a guiding vision, development objectives, key design principles and illustrative layout for the phasing and development of a site.
These documents represent material considerations when making decisions on planning applications, but aren't themselves part of the adopted Development Plan, and therefore can't introduce new policy.
