Updates

7 December 2023

The scheme is programmed to start on site, Monday 18 December, initially for five days, to complete the civils work for the signs. This will involve the installation of the VAS posts and ducting for the power connections to the adjacent lamp columns.

The contractor, Swarco, has advised that the installation and commissioning of the signs will likely go ahead in the second week of January 2024. Exact dates are still to be confirmed.

Traffic management will be necessary to complete this work on this busy road, but disruption to traffic and pedestrians will be kept to a minimum.

17 January 2024

Works along Bank Farm Road pertaining to the VAS have now been concluded with the signs now being operational.
