Description
Traffic modelling has determined that parked vehicles on Innage Road create delays resulting in vehicle queues backing up on Innage Road into the junction, resulting in operational issues at the Five Ways Roundabout. The modelling of the junction considering the obstruction (parking) on Innage Road indicates that the propensity for vehicles to queue back into the junction will only increase with traffic growth up to 2038, and cause greater operational issues for Five Ways Roundabout in the future. Introducing parking restrictions during peak hours on Innage Road (house numbers 52–26) would help to resolve these congestion issues.
Update - formal consultation to be undertaken on removal to parking.
