Highways Improvements will be taking place in Raven Meadows in Shrewsbury. The works will include the installation of a new raised table pedestrian crossing point.
Where is the work?
The works will require a full road closure on Raven Meadows, Shrewsbury. The one-way system will be rescinded during the works to allow access to the hotel, multi-storey car park and businesses.
When is this happening?
The works are scheduled overnight from Wednesday 21 October to Wednesday 4 November, between 8pm to 6am each week night.
Please be aware that these dates may change due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. Any updates will be shown on local advance warning signs and on the One Network website.
How will this affect traffic?
A signed diversion route will be in place for the duration of the closure.
Will there be access to my property/business?
If you're looking to gain access to a property or business within the closure, we'll provide access, however vehicle access may be restricted during working hours.
Our on‑site team will assist where possible. Our priority is to keep you and our staff safe, however there may be delays or times when vehicle access can't safely be provided.
Delivery access
Access to the Darwin Shopping Centre for deliveries will be maintained by using the bus station. Please follow delivery access signage.

Please avoid parking on the road during working hours. This will help us complete the works efficiently and reduce disruption.
