Outshine

Outshine is a referral led service open to schools with a specific remit of support in line with the SEND & AP Change Programme (DFE)

Our service is consent-based, and we follow a triage process to ensure we provide the right support at the right time. This approach helps us identify the most appropriate interventions that foster pupil resilience and positive outcomes, leading to managed and sustained change.

This is fully funded for the academic year 2025-26 for mainstream schools and includes the offer of:

• Outreach advice for preventing suspensions, exclusions and supporting SEMH needs
  
• Direct support from a SEMH Support Officer
  
• Pupil Support Meetings
  
• Development of an AP Directory
  
• Direct support with pupils integrating into mainstream school (eg from TMBSS or through FAP)
  
• Family Support for pupils integrating into mainstream school
  
• Occupational Therapist
  

Referrals to the service are triaged and are consent led.

Exclusion prevention meetings replace pupil planning meetings and are chargeable.
