What is offered?

A wide range of services are offered, including individual assessment, intervention, teacher support, consultancy and training. Schools and other organisations are welcome to contact us to discuss individual needs and the range of bespoke, specialist support that could be provided.

We offer four tiers of support to schools:

Behaviour support tier (BST)

Our BST tier focuses on providing targeted behaviour and SEMH support. This tier doesn't use diagnostic screeners but can be used by schools to seek advice and guidance on SEMH needs, and be signposted without requiring a full SEMH assessment.

Learning support advisory tier (LSAT)

Our LSAT tier offers specialist advisory teachers who work with school staff and families to help children and young people (CYP) when their progress is a concern, by offering a range of standardised and non-standardised screening tools and support to enhance the learning experiences of CYPs.

Screening and full diagnostic assessments (LSAT)

Both screening and full diagnostic assessments for SpLD dyslexia and dyscalculia are available to purchase. These will be conducted by qualified specialist teachers who hold current professional qualifications, including the assessment practicing certificate (APC) approved by the SpLD Assessment Standards Committee. Specialist teachers are affiliated with the British Dyslexia Association and hold AMDBA qualifications.

Consultancy tier (CST)

Our bespoke consultancy and training is delivered by dedicated professionals with extensive experience in primary, secondary and specialist schools, as well as academy trust leadership and coaching. It provides expert support in reviewing school inclusion and SEND programmes. Support may include climate and learning walks of setting, auditing, meeting with stakeholders, identification of key recommendations and action plans, training and signposting. We also offer SENDCo support to schools.

To access any of our services please complete the MATi Outreach Services Purchase Option Form 2025-26 and return to outreach@mmat.co.uk and our outreach coordinator will be in touch with you. For a breakdown of the support models on offer for each of the different tiers, please see the MATi Outreach Services Support Options 2025-26 document.

Private SpLD assessments

MATi Outreach Services are currently trialling the provision of full diagnostic assessments for dyslexia, available to parents on a paid basis. These assessments will be delivered within schools, subject to the agreement of the school.
