Ofsted have notified us that over the next three weeks they would like us to take part in a SEND Thematic Review on the local offer of SEND services available to children, young people and families.

Inspectors will be evaluating:
- How well the local area partnership understands the needs of children and young people with SEND in the local area
- The local area strategic oversight and delivery of services outlined in the local offer
- How parents, carers, children and young people are involved in developing the local offer
- The experiences and outcomes of children and young people with SEND and their families when accessing services in their local area
It's important to clarify that this review will not result in an Ofsted judgement but is likely to result in a report that summarises the strengths and areas for improvement.
