Alternative provision specialist taskforce (APST)

Outshine is the APST that has been launched in Shropshire. It operates in line with the three-tier model of alternative provision. Outshine is a multi-disciplinary team working to support children with social, emotional or mental health needs and/or who may be at risk of suspension or permanent exclusion, and comprises:

• Senior outreach advisors
• Outreach support officers
• Occupational therapist
• Inclusion mentors
• Family support worker
• Reach inclusion hotline

The APST lead for Shropshire is Laura Goodall.
