Crisis and Resilience Fund

The Crisis and Resilience Fund gives money to councils in England to help people before they reach crisis, and when they're in urgent need. It runs from April 2026 to March 2029 and is funded by the UK government.

The fund helps people on low incomes, even if they don't receive benefits.

Shropshire Council and local partners are working together to make sure the people who need help most get support, following government rules.

You can apply for support using the links on this page.

We do more than give cash or vouchers. We also work with local partners to offer advice and support on different problems. You can contact them using the details below.

If you apply to us for help, we may ask to share your details so they can support you in the future.

You don't need to receive a crisis payment to get advice or support, and you don't need to be on benefits.
