Early Help Module (EHM) recording system
The Early Help Module (EHM) is a secure web-based case management system that allows early help agencies to share information about families confidentially, and as such avoiding duplication and ensuring that families get the right service at the right time.
The EHM offers a 'one system' approach for early help services in Shropshire, where all professionals working with families can record assessments, plans and if necessary request Family Help Level 3.
If you'd like to sign up to use this case management system, you will need to complete some mandatory training fist. To access this training, please forward the following information to SupportingFamiliesTeam@shropshire.gov.uk
- Name of the professional/s requiring access to the EHM
- Job title/s
- Organisation
- Individual, organisational email address for each person. Please note, we can't accept admin email addresses, personal email addresses or email addresses that are open to more than one individual in the organisation
We'll then send you more information, request an information sharing agreement (if required) and inform you of future dates for the training you need to book onto. Any professional requiring access to the EHM must complete the one-hour online session. Following the training, full access will be given.
Once you have access to Leap into Learning you'll be able to log in and complete the training modules to gain access to the EHM.
If you need to refer a family whilst completing your training, please forward:
- A completed family agreement form (ensuring anyone aged 13 has signed for themselves)
- A circle of support that has been completed with the family
- A request for intervention form
All these documents can be found in the forms section on the early help website.
If you have any questions regarding the training process or about referrals, please email SupportingFamiliesTeam@shropshire.gov.uk
