Economic growth

The Economic Growth Team plays a key role in supporting and developing Shropshire’s economy. Our vision is to support and promote the economic growth and prosperity of Shropshire by attracting investment, creating jobs, enhancing skills, supporting businesses and developing infrastructure. We work with partners across the county to develop the infrastructure required for sustainable economic growth.

The work of the Economic Growth Team is guided by Shropshire’s Economic Growth Strategy which is helping to deliver Shropshire Council’s Shropshire Plan, with a focus on the Healthy Economy section.
