Land charges

What is a local land charge search?

This is usually carried out when you buy a property or piece of land. A search can be carried out by your solicitor, or you can order one yourself. The search will show issues or restrictions that are held against the property/land that you're buying.

A search is made up of two parts, the LLC1 and Con29. Our 'Submit a local land charge search' page gives more details.
