Oswestry Library weather closure and refurb closure - January

Wintry weather

Oswestry Library will be closing at 3:30pm today (Thursday 8 January) and will be fully closed tomorrow (Friday 9 January) due to the incoming snowstorm. We currently plan to reopen as normal on Saturday 10 January at 9:30am, but will make a final risk assessment on Friday afternoon.

New carpet

There will be a full building closure at Oswestry Library on Friday 23 January for the purposes of a carpet installation (the final rescheduled part of the recent LIF-funded counter refurbishment works from November last year).

There will be no public access to the building at all, and all events/groups will be rescheduled. Email inboxes will be monitored, but telephone lines will be out of service for the day.
