She will be discussing her new book, which is set in Powis Castle where the central character, teenager Jo, is mysteriously transported from today’s world to a 1940s setting, living alongside the evacuees from the Welsh Girls' School, Kent. There, she learns to appreciate the value of true friendship and experiences life without social media.
