Jan was born in Essex but moved to Montgomeryshire in 1978 where the beautiful countryside of the mid Wales border area inspired her to write short stories which are suitable for short train journeys, coffee breaks and bedtime reading. A mix of stories, some with twists or a sharp edge but others more related to life experience.
She now attends a fortnightly creative writing group in Oswestry Library and previously attended a course led by Dave Andrews, Reader & Writer in Residence at Oswestry Library.
