Libraries Meet the author: Samantha Maxwell – Silenced

Come along and meet Samantha Maxwell, the inspiring author of CP Isn’t Me, Disabling Ableism, and her new release Silenced — three powerful books that challenge perceptions and celebrate resilience.

In CP Isn’t Me, Samantha shares her personal journey of living with cerebral palsy, breaking stereotypes and showing that disability doesn't define identity. Disabling ableism continues that message, exploring how society can become more inclusive and supportive for everyone. Her latest release, Silenced, is a deeply moving story that tackles mental health and disability, highlighting the importance of understanding, empathy, and finding your voice.

Samantha will be at Oswestry Library to sign copies of her books and chat with readers about her writing journey, her advocacy work, and the messages behind her stories.

Books will be available to purchase directly from Samantha on the day. £10/£15 per book (cash or card accepted).
