- Workshop with self-soothing practices
- Facilitator: Willow Sterrick – Willow’s Wisdom
This workshop will give you an easy to follow and full toolkit of anxiety busting strategies for life, so when anxious moments, days or thoughts arise you'll be armed with ways to help you manage.
What to expect:
- A short guided relaxation to help us all to melt into the present moment
- I manage our group expectations, by asking what the aims are for the session, whether it's to get better sleep or finding techniques for managing daily tasks, appointments, shopping trips etc, this gives those who attend a more personal experience
- I create a gentle, non-judgmental and welcoming space, where you may be asked to share your experiences and feelings, without the expectation to do so, unless you want to
- We cover the aims set, discuss various methods to help our situations and we practice self-soothing techniques together
We hope to all end the session feeling calmer and leaving with our own favourite techniques to take away, to continue with regular practices at home.
