What will I need before I apply?

• Completed application form
  
• Proof of payment of the application fee
  
• Two recent passport sized photos of yourself, one of which is endorsed with a statement verifying the likeness of the photograph to the applicant. The photograph must be endorsed by a solicitor, notary, a person of standing in the community or any other individual with a professional qualification
  
• A basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Any certificate must be no more than one calendar month old, or
  
• A criminal conviction certificate issued under section 112 of the Police Act 1997(a), or
• A criminal record certificate issued under section 113A of the Police Act 1997, or
  
• The results of a subject access search under the Data Protection Act 1998(b) of the Police National Computer by the National Identification Service
  
• A completed disclosure of convictions and declaration form (this is included with the application form)
  
• A copy of your accredited personal licence qualification 
• Proof of your right to work in the United Kingdom
