Timetable and processes

Our plan-making timetable is the ‘project plan’, outlining anticipated timescales for the production of planning policy documents we intend to prepare over the next three years – it includes the next Shropshire Local Plan (2046).

The plan-making timetable – V1 (May 2026) is to take effect from 7 May 2026. The timetable will be subject to regular reviews and updated where appropriate.

The project initiation document (PID) for the next Shropshire Local Plan sets out the management framework to support the delivery of the next Shropshire Local Plan, addressing the intended scope, governance arrangements, resources and timelines.
