Community Wellbeing Outreach team
The Community Wellbeing Outreach Team supports the Health and Wellbeing Board in helping everyone stay healthy and reducing inequalities that contribute to ill health. The team works closely with local communities and partners to ensure that services are easy to access and meet people’s needs.
Its work includes talking to residents to understand what matters most, identifying gaps in services, and helping to create programmes that make a real difference. Its goal is to build a healthy, caring, and inclusive community through outreach, sharing resources, and collaboration with partners.
The team runs health clinics, supports volunteers, organises inclusive events, and ensures that everyone’s voice is heard - especially those who are often underrepresented or at a higher risk of poor outcomes. It also focus on health promotion, environmental wellbeing, and emergency response.
