Fiona Wood

Though I'm not originally from Shropshire, I now feel deeply connected to the county and its community. I'm married to a British Army veteran, have two boys, and volunteer with local scouting. My career has ranged from accountancy training to being a PCSO in Liverpool, supporting SEND children, and working in Community Outreach.

Our small team covers the whole county, but I’m mainly found in the north at veteran's groups, foodbanks, and mental health pop-ups; I also drive our Wellbeing Hub to reach rural communities. At Shrewsbury College I support student wellbeing and train Cancer Champions. With my broad experience and adaptable approach, I'm committed to helping locals improve their wellbeing.
