Drugs and alcohol support

If you or someone you know may have a problem with alcohol or drugs, please contact Shropshire Recovery Partnership (SRP), provided by WithYou.

With You is a large national charity, operating in 80 locations across England and Scotland.  You can get local help and support on their website. They also have webchat where you can talk to them confidentially.

Shropshire Recovery Partnership is a county-wide service. The central hub is located at 1A Castle Gates, Shrewsbury and there are satellite hubs in Oswestry, Bridgnorth and Ludlow. We also have clinics in Whitchurch, Wem, Shifnal, Market Drayton and Ellesmere. The RESET Team supports homeless individuals throughout the county with their very own mobile clinic, known as “The Bus”.

Shropshire Recovery Partnership will work with people to reach their goals; this is entirely client led and as such, support will vary. This can include:

  • 1-2-1 work with a keyworker
  • Group Work (SMART Recovery, Womens, Mens, Art)
  • Courses (Alcohol, Cannabis, Cocaine, Pre Detox)
  • Access to detox and rehabilitation services
  • Needle Syringe Provision
