Money First Aiders

Need to talk about money? Speak to a Money First Aider®

Talking about money is hard, but you don’t have to go through it alone. As part of our commitment to the overall wellbeing of our employees, we now have trained Money First Aiders® in the organisation to listen and support your financial wellbeing.

What is a Money First Aider®?

Money First Aiders® are trained colleagues who offer a confidential, non-judgemental space to talk about financial worries. They're not financial advisers, counsellors or HR representatives — they're fellow employees trained to offer a listening ear and practical signposting in a safe, confidential space.

Why talk to a Money First Aider®?

You don’t need to be in serious debt or crisis to reach out — you may be facing higher bills, divorce, gambling, unpaid care, illness, supporting a loved one financially, or something else entirely. A Money First Aider® can help you talk through any money worry and point you in the right direction for further support. Sometimes a quick chat can help you feel clearer, calmer and more informed.

How does it work?

Conversations are informal, supportive, and completely private. There’s no pressure to share more than you want to. No information will be shared with your employer, manager or HR team. The conversation stays between you and the Money First Aider®.

Who is this for?

Everyone's financial situation is different, and money worries can happen to anyone, no matter your role or income. Any employee can speak to our Money First Aiders®. Talking to someone can be the first step toward feeling more in control.
