Description
Proposals seek to improve pedestrian movements within Pontesbury. Measures include junction realignment, widening footways and road safety measures.
- Phase 1 - drainage measures on Brookside to include a raised table and pavement realignments to help aid drainage to watercourse
- Phase 2 – footway widening to the junction along Hall Bank, to also include a suggested pedestrian facilities to aid movements
- Phase 3 – realignment of the Main Road junction and pedestrian facilities, discussions being held with parish council on scope of works for delivery at a future date. Original proposals revisited following previous public meeting, new concept design prepared and shared with the parish council
