Ludlow residents digital parking scheme
Residents with an address on any eligible street are entitled to apply for a digital resident on/off-street or visitors parking permit, subject to availability. We've also published a map showing the qualifying areas of the town.
On-street resident parking permit
A residents' on-street parking scheme operates in permitted areas of Ludlow. Each eligible household is entitled to one permit with one vehicle registered at any one time, which allows you to park in a designated on-street parking bay without restriction.
A permit doesn't guarantee you a parking space in the designated on street parking bay, nor will it guarantee that you'll be able to park directly in front of your property.
Ludlow is divided into two areas, the red central area and the blue outer area.
Off-street resident parking permit
A residents' off-street parking scheme operates in Ludlow Galdeford Zone A (Upper), Galdeford Zone B (Lower) and Smithfield car parks. Each eligible household is entitled to apply for permits, with one vehicle registered at any one time. A permit allows you to park in a designated car park without restriction. There's no limit to the amount of permits that can be purchased by eligible householders. However, there's a maximum number of permits available for each of the car parks (see below). Once this maximum has been reached, no further permits will be available until such a time as a permit expires or is cancelled.
Digital permits for these car parks aren't valid for parking on-street or for any other car park other than your chosen designated car park.
A digital permit won't guarantee you a parking space within the car park.
On-street digital visitor permit
Residents in Ludlow can have 200 hours free parking for visitors These hours are free if selected when purchasing a Ludlow on-street resident permit.
For those households eligible to have a resident permit, but not requiring a resident on-street permit, 200 hours of visitors parking can be purchased for £5. See the 'Apply now' button below.
A permit doesn't guarantee you a parking space in the designated bay, nor will it guarantee that you'll be able to park directly in front of your property. Lack of free spaces won't be accepted as a reason to park in any unauthorised parking area.
